The Green Party believes Labour's new roading plan shows it's not serious about climate change.
The Government's draft transport policy statement outlines $20 billion worth of spending over three years - that's about $5 billion more than the last plan.
While there are some light rail and public transport projects, the bulk of the money will go towards roads.
That's irresponsible, according to the Green Party's transport spokesperson Julie Anne Genter.
