Cardrona Valley will come alive this week to the sounds of dogs and mushers - competing in the country's only sled dog racing event on snow.
The South Island Siberian Husky Club will host about 40 entrants and nearly 100 dogs - in classes ranging from eight-dog teams to single-dog entries.
