Seventy-percent of New Zealanders want decisions around Te Tiriti o Waitangi to be done on an equal footing between Māori and non-Māori.
That's according to a new Horizon Poll commissioned by the New Zealand Human Right Commission, which found a majority believes Te Tiriti applies to everyone in Aotearoa.
Professor Claire Charters is the commission's Rongomau Taketake, Indigenous Rights partner.
