Reporter on power outage in Northland

From Morning Report, 7:20 am on 21 June 2024

Hundreds of people in Northland have spent the night without power after a catastrophic grid failure. Nearly 100,000 people were initially cut off when a single pylon toppled as maintenance crews worked on it. Most houses have now had their power restored, but more blackouts are likely as crews work to fix the tower. RNZ's reporter Susan Edmunds spoke to Corin Dann from Whangarei.
