The government has announced an "extensive" review into the management of risk within the country's earthquake-prone building system. Building and Contruction Minister Chris Penk says a steering group with an independent chair will oversee the review, and which reports back in 2025. Any legislation would be introduced later in 2026. Penk spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
