Minister on Police's new Community Beat Teams

The police are creating new Community Beat Teams in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Ninety officers will be deployed over the next two years, 63 across Auckland's three policing districts, 17 in Wellington and 10 in Christchurch. Commissioner Andrew Coster also announced police will target anti-social behaviour and crime in central Auckland. Police minister Mark Mitchell spoke to Corin Dann.
