State of Emergency declared in Hastings's Haumoana

A state of emergency has been declared in Haumoana, Hastings, because of costal inundation. Police are knocking on doors asking affected residences to evacuate. Hawkes Bay Civil defence is calling for peple to be prepared to leave their homes. Duty controller at Hastings District Council Dean Ferguson spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
