PM headed to Washington DC

The Prime Minister sets off for Washington D.C this evening for what will be his debut rubbing shoulders with both European and US leaders. Christopher Luxon is optimistic he'll get a face-to-face with his US counterpart, Joe Biden, but as is often the case with these summits, exactly who will make time for him at NATO won't be known until the eleventh hour. RNZ's political editor Jo Moir is in London, and spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
