EV group on government easing fuel efficiency standards

The government has eased fuel efficiency standards for new cars in Aotearoa, saying the current rules are too strict for importers. But Drive Electric says if we are going to join Australia on Standards we should also provide incentives to support people into cleaner vehicles. They say we should also have the same penalties as Australia for those driving high-emission vehicles. Drive Electric chair Kirsten Corson spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
