The cost of building a new single-storey brick and tile house has dropped for the first time in more than a decade. CoreLogic tracks construction costs and released its quarterly report this morning - which shows a one-point-one percent decrease in the three months to June. Chief property economist Kelvin Davidson spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
