The cost of bricks and mortar for building a new single storey house has dropped for the first time in at least 12 years. The latest Cordell Construction Cost index from CoreLogic shows a one-point-one percent decrease in building material prices over the last three months. Green Homes general manager Brent Mettrick spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
