Taupo gearing up for Supercars Championship

Taupo is gearing up for another thrilling round of the Supercars Championship, confirmed for the eleventh to the 13 April. The city will host the race for the second time, following the success of the first event in 2024 - which drew a sold-out crowd of over 67,000 spectators. Supercars chief operations officer Tim Watsford spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
