Pharmac chair on letter of expectation from Minister

Associate Health Minister David Seymour wants more investment in cancer drugs and immunisation, and a role for patients in decision-making. He's told Pharmac to stop making Te Tiriti o Waitangi a focus, but that the agency still needs to apply a needs-based criteria. Former Maori Health Authority clinical lead, Dr Rawiri McKree Jansen earlier told Morning Report that was disappointing. David Seymour did not respond to our invitation to come on the programme.
