The goverment has sent a letter of expectations to the drug-buying agency, urging it to prioritise cancer drugs and immunisation - and to be more transparent. Earlier in the programme, we spoke to Pharmac Board Chair Paula Bennett ..said the new system changes will make a small differene and instead provide more opportunity to deliver medicine for all New Zealanders, rather than using "background as a measure of need".
