Air NZ disputes suggestions of flight price rises

Air New Zealand is disputing claims from Consumer NZ some airfares have surged by up to 300 percent in the past five years. Consumer NZ compared the prices of eleven flights in 2023 and 2024 with flights in 2019 and 2021, and found prices increases ranged from 34 to 291 per cent. Air New Zealand's head of domestic Scott Carr spoke to Corin Dann.
