Eight Israeli soldiers have been killed in combat in southern Lebanon. The deaths are the first since Israel sent ground troops into the country two days ago to fight Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants, and the first since Iran attacked several Israeli towns and cities with a barrage of missiles on Wednesday.
