US pushes EU to sort sovereign debt crisis

U.S. President Barack Obama's meeting with European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso - has given him the chance to ratchet up pressure on EU officials saying EU sovereign debt is weighing too heavily on the American economy.
