A Maori authority in Gisborne says the loss of its land is like having a child taken away; An iwi in south Waikato is trying to avoid calling in the Crown over competing tribal treaty claims; Te Kupenga, the national network of stopping domestic violence says it doesn't believe violence is on the increase - there's just better awareness of it; Maori nurses wanting to return to their tribal rohe, including rural communities to work, are being encouraged to apply for a scholarship that will allow them to move back home.
