Salmonella Dub on writing in nature: ‘You could catch a kahawai from the mixing desk’

To celebrate the upcoming release of the new album For all Things Alive, the Salmonella Dub Sound System are getting ready to hit the road and perform across the motu. 

Since forming in 1993, Salmonella Dub have been at the forefront of dub/drum n bass/reggae/roots music here in NZ and around the world.

Salmonella Dub originator Andrew Penman aka DJ Rudeboy talks to Charlotte Ryan about how the community of Whakatu, writer Keri Hulme, and our cultural history, influenced the music.
