Earlier this week the Wellington band Shihad announced they were putting up their horns for the final time with a nationwide farewell tour in early 2025.
After nearly 40 years together, the rocking four piece has created 10 studio albums, collected 18 Aotearoa Music Awards, and received an induction into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.
To celebrate the end of a legendary era, we are dipping back in time to play an interview with a youthful Tom Larkin and Jon Toogood from Shihad - talking to Malcom Young back in 1998 for an early edition of Musical Chairs
