It’s been 35 years since Doolittle, and now 20 years into their second life after a hiatus and still Pixies remain a force to be reckoned with.
The prolific band continues to churn out new music, tour widely and shape the sound of alternative rock around the globe.
A huge part of that sound is world renowned guitarist Joey Santiago. Maggie Tweedie spoke to Joey about his phobia of crunchy sounds, his christmas brisket recipe and trying his hand writing lyrics for the band's album The Night the Zombies Came.
