A new documentary about māori metal band Alien Weaponry will be released in cinemas this Waitangi Day. Alien Weaponry: Kua Tupu Te Ara follows brothers Henry and Lewis Te Reiwhati de Jong as teens rehearsing at their family home in Waipu farmland, to playing the largest festivals in the world.
Alien Weaponry join Charlotte in the studio to talk about the impact of bringing te reo māori to an international audience, the challenge of long tours in tiny vans, and how to head bang without straining your neck.
