DJ Sir-Vere's involvement in DJ culture stretches back to childhood tales of manning the turntables when his D.J.-ing dad needed to take a toilet break. He grew up to present radio programmes, co-host New Zealand's first televised hip hop show, work as a producer for Dawn Raid Entertainment, and organise the annual Aotearoa hip hop summit.
