Human Instinct (Part 1) - Beyond the Four Four Beat

Stepping back 50-years in time The Four Fours had their beginnings as a humble sax-based dance band playing old time dance hits that shifted into Shadows-style instrumentals and beat band styles with the arrival of two guitarists. Soon with TV appearances and hit records, they were cleaning up on the Auckland club scene and after a gig supporting the Rolling Stones they were sailing off to try their luck alongside the big names on the British circuit under the new name, Human Instinct.
