Among Aotearoa's foremost cultural ambassadors, Moana and the Tribe have travelled extensively, taking te reo and our indigenous culture and values to the world. The Tribe has just released its fifth studio album Rima, produced by band member Paddy Free (Pitch Black).
The new album captures The Tribe’s unique brand of female harmonies and haka, while exploring our relationship with the environment, especially the ocean.
Moana and members of the Tribe came into Radio NZ to perform some of their new material live, ahead of the launch of the album Rima. They are hosted by Trevor Reekie.
