Ruth Moody is a folk/roots singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in Australia to Australian parents, but brought up in Manitoba, Canada. Best known for her work with all-female trio The Wailin’ Jennys, she’s also a solo artist with two albums under her belt, and plays her first New Zealand show in Auckland tonight.
Ruth's sister Rachel lives in New Zealand now, playing violin with the Auckland Philharmonia, and joins Ruth and bassist Sam Howard for this live session, hosted by Kirsten Johnstone and recorded by Andre Upston.
