Across the Tasman Sea, something of a neo-soul revolution is taking place, with artists including SilentJay, Stella Angelico and The Bamboos finding ways of making an expressive vocal and bit of boom klat their own.
One of the most visible acts in the scene, the Grammy nomination probably helped- Hiatus Kaiyote touched down for their first shows in Aotearoa last week.
