Bob Moses are progressing musically and geographically. Their debut album 'Days Gone By' melds conventional song structure with minimal electronic production styles resulting in a smooth, addictive, easy to listen to record. From Vancouver, to New York and now to Los Angeles the duo say they keep moving not to be in the right place at the right time for their music career, but for reasons more selfish.
"We're Canadian so for us winter is a thing. Then you move to New York and during winter the air hurts your face and we were talking and i was just like, for the next album can we move somewhere the air doesn't hurt my face!"
The success of their debut album has opened doors to festivals like Coachella and Governor's Ball, it's earned them a Grammy nomination, an appearance on the Ellen TV show, a guest invitation to BBC Radio 1's exclusive essential mix club, and now a tour down under.
"When you list all of those things it's kinda like yeah, we've done all right i guess. It was a year ago exactly that we made the essential mix, we went back home to Vancouver to do it. we spent three weeks working on it. it was savage, but we were really happy with what we came up with."
