The Auckland folk Festival celebrates its incredible 45th year this weekend with celebrations in Kumeu. The line-up includes local and international acts and on Sunday will announce the winner of the 2018 Tui Award for Best Folk Artist. The finalists are Reb Fountain, Albi and the Wolves and Candice Milner.
To commemorate the occasion, we asked eighteen year old Sophie Mashlan, who won a social media competition to win a place on the festival line up to perform a song for us.
