Auckland pop sensation Benee has performed her track ‘Supalonely’ live on one of America’s highest rating late-night shows, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
She performed via video connection from Neil Finn’s Roundhead studios in Auckland, accompanied by her band... and her two Italian Greyhounds!
American singer songwriter Gus Dapperton, who features on the track, also joined in via video link.
Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon called the track “the summer breakout smash hit” and asked if he was too old to love it.
"I love it, I love the song, I love her voice, I love the whole thing," Fallon said.
‘Supalonely’ went viral on TikTok recently, becoming a global lockdown anthem.
