Martha Wainwright - Come Home to Mama

Four years ago Martha Wainwright released an album of, as she says, "jaunty, rockin' tunes" called I Know Your Married But I've Got Feelings Too. Since then her famous folk-singer mother Kate McGarrigle has passed away. Like her brother Rufus, Martha's latest record spends time celebrating the influence Kate had on their lives and music. Martha's new album, Come Home To Mama, was recorded at Sean Lennon's home studio with members of Wilco, The Dirty Three, and her most important collaborator, producer Yuka C. Honda of Cibo Matto. Nick Atkinson talks to Martha Wainwright from her home in New York City.
