We head along to the ceremony for the 2014 Taite Prize, which recognises creativity and innovation in an album.
The 2014 finalists list includes Beastwars for Blood Becomes Fire, Sheep Dog & Wolf for Egospect, The Phoenix Foundation for Fandango, David Dallas for Falling Into Place, @peace for Girl Songs, Lorde for Pure Heroine, Jonathan Bree for The Primrose Path, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra for II.
We hear from winner Lorde via video link from Las Vegas and talk to her manager Scott Maclachlan as the 17 year-old from the North Shore takes out yet another prestigious gong.
There's also a great speech from last year's winner SJD, who sums up the burden and exaltation musicians experience, while introducing the eight finalists for the 2014 Taite Music Prize.
