Lianne Dalziel to focus on rebuild after securing 3rd term

Lianne Dalziel says she's ready to hit the ground running in her third term as Christchurch's mayor. The progress vote count shows Ms Dalziel has a clear majority with 44,811 votes. Twelve other people were vying for her position and her nearest rival, Darryll Park, has received 28,260 votes. This afternoon Ms Dalziel spoke to media at the Bridge of Remembrance with her husband Rob Davidson by her side, and thanked Christchurch for having confidence in her. She says her first action will be to build the team.
