Tauranga Council in for a shakeup

The Tauranga City Council is in for a shake-up if its newly elected Mayor has anything to do with it. Businessman Tenby Powell a new-comer to local government beat sitting Mayor, Greg Brownless. Mr Powell moved from Auckland back to Tauranga, where he was brought up, earlier in the year to campaign. He told Waikato reporter Andrew McRae he always felt he had a fighting-chance.
