Judith Collins said she had texted the Prime Minister and says National will support getting the terrorism bill that is "stuck in select committee" through the House.
"You find out there's a gap once you have a situation like this...this man, he won't be the only one that authorities are keeping an eye on."
Judith Collins also wants a law change to strip people of their New Zealand citizenship or residency if they commit a violent crime in the country.
