There is excitement in the mathematical community about the proofs recently released by Shinichi Mochizuki from Kyoto University, which not only solve the famous 'ABC Conjecture' problem in Number Theory, but additionally open up the possibility for a new realm of mathematics – with Prof. Minhyong Kim from University of Oxford's Mathematical Institute.
