On Country Life tonight we speak to Will Morrison who runs Mangara Station and feeds animals born there into Fern Flats, the home farm managed by his brother Richard. The Morrison family has been farming the same bit of land near Marton since 1864. Then we head to Banks Peninsula and a farmer leading the way in terms of Charolais cattle genetics. The Charolais originated in central France in the provinces of Charolles and were first introduced in New Zealand in the late sixties.

Tonight's Mixtape is chosen by Concord Dawn, a drum n bass duo made up of Matt Harvey and Evan Short.
They started making music in 1999, releasing four albums together as a duo before Evan departed and Matt continued solo.
To celebrate their twentieth anniversary they reunited for a Nationwide tour, and there's a new Concord Dawn EP called 1999 available now.
