7:12 New Native Forests

Nights' Forest Correspondent, Dean Baigent-Mercer joins us once again.  Tonight he takes a look at new native forests - the fire-resistant ones be need to plant as permanent carbon sinks and the native forests that are coming back by themselves and the help they need.

Regenerating native vegetation that will be enhanced with additional native planting. It will be permanently reserved as part of this project to further protect the waterways and riparian zones.
