10:17 Gas discovery in Taranaki

A few days ago, one of the country's biggest oil and gas producers had a significant gas find in Taranaki.

It was found on-shore in northern Taranaki by privately owned Greymouth Petroleum.

Greymouth supplies about 20 percent of the gas market and has the biggest gas reserves, about 35 percent of known reserves.
