Dr Gabriela Baron leads the Design and the Natural Environment paper at the University of Auckland. This paper focuses on conservation goals and strategies in the real world she says if designers want to change the world we need to move beyond "green-painted" solutions such as recycle-able water bottles, and design in a way that actually changes the way we produce, consume and socialise.
