Paua back on the menu for Kaikoura locals

This afternoon Oceans and Fisheries Minister David Parker announced Kaikoura's Paua Fishery is set to reopen for the first time since an earthquake forced its closure in 2016. It will initially reopen for three months from 1st December and be closely monitored but it's good news for locals and seafood lovers. Strom Stanley is the Chairman of The Paua Industry Council and joins us to explain why it's been closed for so long and some of his favourite recipes for those wanting to get their hands on the much sought after delicacy
