Eleven Kiwi were released into the Mākara hills of Wellington over the weekend - the first step in bringing the national icon back to the nation's capital.
Dame Kerry Prendergast is a trustee and funding lead with the Capital Kiwi Project, and the former Mayor of Wellington of course. She joins Karyn on the programme.
