"My partner was invited to a wedding overseas and excitedly we booked a whole 5 weeks trip around it. A few months later the invitation arrived and we discovered that I wasn't invited.
I'm obviously hurt by this, though I've never met the friends who are going to get married me and my partner have been together for 3 years now and it feels like a slap in the face to me and our relationship - if we were husband and wife, would I be invited?
To make things worse my partner has taken their side and says she agrees with me not being invited! Weddings are expensive obviously and not everyone can be invited but surely there is room for one more in this circumstance? What should I do?"

"Back in 2023, I booked a year in advance for a special, romantic activity for me and my girlfriend for Valentines Day. Fast forward to 2024, we are no longer together, and I'm seeing someone new.
With Valentines Day approaching, I'm wondering whether it's 'okay' to take the person I'm dating on this booking that I made with my old girlfriend in mind. I'm still on good terms with my ex-girlfriend, but I'm not sure whether she'd feel weird about me 'recycling' our special thing, or whether the girl I'm seeing now would feel weird about it too."
