Italian inventor of tiramisu dies aged 81

The man credited with the invention of the tiramisu has died aged 81.

Pastry chef Roberto Linguanotto, who also went by Loli, is said to have whipped up the layered coffee dessert in the 1970s in the Italian city of Treviso.

One man who knew his work well is Francesco Redi.

Francesco Redi is the founder and CEO of the Tiramisu World Cup, and he speaks to Emile Donovan from Italy.
