Kathleen Jamie on her inspiration and identity as a Scottish poet

Kathleen Jamie is a poet and non-fiction writer who has just completed her time as The Makar or National Poet for Scotland.

She is currently in Dunedin where she is completing a writing residency with the University of Otago, and has just published a collection, My Keelie Hawk, which contains poems written in Scots with English translations.

Kathleen joins Emile to discuss poetry and the arts including challenges facing the sector here and abroad.
