A fresh poll shows the coalition would be thrown out if an election was held today, with the left bloc holding just enough support to form a government.
Support for National is down 3 points to 34 per cent in the latest 1News-Verian poll.
Labour is up 4 points to 33 per cent, ACT is up one point to 9 per cent, the Greens are steady on 10 per cent, New Zealand First is down one point on 5 per cent and Te Pāti Māori is down 3 points to 4 per cent.
It's the third in a row where the Opposition is out-polling the Government.
