Tauranga boy Sam Ruthe at just 15-years old has become the youngest person ever to run a 4-minute mile.

As we learn more about how to push the human body to perform at its best, will we keep breaking records and running faster forever into the future?

Dr Craig Harrison is a Research Associate with AUT's Sports Performance Research Institute New Zealand and the founder of the Athlete Development Project, fostering talented athletes between the ages of twelve and twenty.
