Tamagawa River flood control
The ground photographs have been taken along the Tamagawa River in between the Ward of Setagaya (one of the most expensive land area in Tokyo) and Tama City.
The aerial imagery is made from photographs showing a portion of the Tamagawa River and the surrounding in 1948 and in 2013. You can see the evolution of the build environment and also the gravel mining pits in 1948.
