Christian Long is the Co-Founder, of the Wonder Wonder studio and Prototype Design Studio, and he previously co-lead the The Third Teacher and design studio of CannonDesign. Christian is an educator, school planner, and passionate advocate for innovative learning communities. He is an advocate for the value of student collaboration in innovative school design.
He will be at the Wellington Festival of Education, which is a free community event for adults and children: 10am-4pm Saturday 29 March at TSB, Shed 6 and Frank Kitts Park. Christian will speak at the event at 2pm in Shed 6.

Claudia Goldin is a Harvard University economics professor. She is an economic historian and a labor economist and director of the NBER's Development of the American Economy program. Her research has covered a wide array of topics, such as slavery, emancipation, the post-bellum south, women in the economy, the economic impact of war, immigration, New Deal policies, inequality, technological change, and education. Most of her research interprets the present through the lens of the past and explores the origins of current issues of concern. In the past several years her work has concerned the rise of mass education in the United States and its impact on economic growth and wage inequality. More recently she has focused her attention on college women's achievement of career and family. She is the author and editor of several books, among them Understanding the Gender Gap: An Economic History of American Women.
