Foreign Policy Magazine editor on defeating the Islamic State

David Rothkopf is the Chief Executive and Editor of Foreign Policy Magazine. He is also the President and Chief Executive of Garten Rothkopf, an international advisory company specializing in global political risk, energy, resource, technology and emerging markets issues based in Washington, DC. Mr. Rothkopf is a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and the author of numerous books. He served as both US Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade and as Acting Under Secretary during the Clinton Administration.
